Some weddings arrive by chance, and then there are weddings you feel instantly, from the very first moment.
For me, Angelo and Giordana were exactly that. From our first meeting, I sensed something different. Giordana is incredibly sweet, with a strong yet gentle determination. There is grace in the way she speaks, in the way she looks at people, in her quiet kindness. And in her eyes there was a light that spoke for itself — a light that revealed the immense love she feels for Angelo. It was not simply excitement for a wedding day; it was the certainty of having found the right person.
Over time, we truly connected. What began as a professional relationship built on trust slowly became something deeper — a sincere bond, a beautiful sense of understanding, and eventually a small friendship that grew naturally while planning their wedding day. And this is one of the things I love most about my work.
Their religious ceremony took place in one of Olbia’s historic churches, a place filled with spirituality and memory. The atmosphere was intimate and deeply emotional. It was an incredibly warm day, and soft light filtered delicately through the church aisles, gently illuminating the emotional faces of their guests. Giordana entered with natural elegance, her eyes searching only for him. Angelo was waiting for her with the kind of genuine emotion that simply cannot be staged. The ceremony felt profound, authentic, and beautifully understated. No excess — just love. After the ceremony, the couple chose to celebrate in San Pantaleo, a village that holds the most authentic soul of Sardinia. Here, we created a wedding design that truly reflected who they are. The dominant colour palette revolved around dusty blue — refined, delicate, yet full of character. A shade capable of adding depth without heaviness, romance without cliché.
Styling & Design
Every detail was designed to feel harmonious and elegant, balancing modern sophistication with Sardinian tradition in a natural and effortless way. One of the most emotional elements of this wedding was the logo itself. Giordana first spoke to me about her desire for a symbol connected to Sardinian heritage — not something abstract or overly modern, but something meaningful, rooted in tradition. One day, she sent me a photograph of a lily motif woven into a traditional Sardinian carpet. That image had stayed with her. From there, something truly special happened. The groom’s brother hand-drew and redesigned the symbol himself. That drawing became the official logo of their wedding. It was not created digitally or chosen from a catalogue — it was born from a gesture of family and love. The lily, symbolising purity, strength, and beauty, became the guiding thread throughout the entire wedding design: from the invitations to the table styling, all the way to the smallest decorative details.
Giordana is from Veneto. Angelo is Sardinian. Yet together they chose a symbol that honoured the land welcoming them on the most important day of their lives. And to me, this carried the deepest meaning of all. It was not merely aesthetic — it was intentional. A way of saying: these are our roots, and this is our bond.
Beautiful — and Thoughtful — Details
The wedding favours were created by a local artisan: scented candles inspired by the fragrances of Sardinia, with notes of juniper and delicate Mediterranean herbs.
Each candle also served as the guest’s place card — elegant, useful, and deeply sensory. Giordana also wanted countless playful touches and small gadgets to entertain guests of all ages. No one was ever bored; the celebration felt alive from the very beginning. And then there was one detail that made me smile: Giordana is a doctor, so she decided to prepare small emergency kits for the guests, including plasters, pain relievers, and antihistamines. A practical idea, yet one that everyone genuinely appreciated. These are the kinds of thoughtful gestures that truly make a difference.
Golden Light, Gardens & Poetry
After lunch, we moved into the garden surrounded by the iconic granite rocks of San Pantaleo. The light had turned golden and soft, filtering beautifully through the stones and illuminating everything around us. A live band played in the background, creating an atmosphere that felt elegant yet wonderfully relaxed. People laughed, danced, toasted, and embraced the moment fully. The cake cutting was pure romance. Delicate flowers, warm evening air, intense glances exchanged between two people completely in love — and everyone could feel it.
And Then… the Real Party Began
As night fell, the DJ set became more energetic. Guests danced properly, laughed loudly, and celebrated without restraint. And then, almost without thinking, the couple ended the evening by jumping into the pool — fully dressed, carefree, happy, and free. It was spontaneous, youthful, and unforgettable.
More than just work
Helping them create something so personal and meaningful was an immense joy. Being welcomed into people’s lives during one of the most important moments of their story is a privilege. To witness a day where love truly fills every space goes far beyond work itself. With Giordana and Angelo, I felt serenity. I felt gratitude. And every time this happens, I am reminded once again why I chose this profession.
